Walk-In Residential Shredding Services

For smaller commercial and residential clients with under 450 lbs. of documents to shred (approximately 15 boxes), Vital Records Control Alaska offers walk-in residential shredding services with no appointment necessary. Residential shredding must be set up on a contract basis.

Hours: Monday-Thursday (12-5 pm) & Friday (10am-4pm)

• Your confidential materials are shredded onsite.
• Once the shredding is completed, materials are collected and transported to the Anchorage Recycling Center.

Mobile Hard Drive Destruction

Our mobile shredders reduce hard drives to shredded scrap metal in a matter of seconds, making information retrieval from them impossible.

• HD Serial # and Reporting – Your hard drives are assigned a serial number and scanned into our system before destruction occurs.
• Certificate of Destruction – You receive a Certificate of Destruction that includes your hard drive serial number.
• Recycling – After the drives are destroyed beyond recognition, materials are sent to be recycled with other electronic scraps.
